Govt Increases Petrol Price By Re1 For November

The federal government on Thursday through a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance announced a Re1 increase in the price of petrol for the month of November. The price of petrol was increased from Rs113.24 to Rs114.24 per litre, as per the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). ISLAMABAD: In a rare move, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Wednesday put on hold about Rs3 per unit increase in electricity tariff for consumers of ex-Wapda distribution companies (Discos) under monthly fuel adjustment for lack of evidence. Ban on new CNG Connections Lifted

ISLAMABAD: The government has lifted the ban on new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) connections across the country. The moratorium on fresh connections on local gas to the industrial sector was imposed in 2011 and the industry was given re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) connections.
