NAB to investigate K-P’s tsunami tree project

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Executive Board on Wednesday approved four separate investigations into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Billion-Tree Tsunami Project, a spokesperson for the anti-graft buster said. According to the spokesperson, the anti-corruption watchdog also approved six separate inquiries into the project. The decision was taken in a meeting presided over by NAB Chairman retired Justice Javed Iqbal. The meeting also approved filing one reference, conducting seven investigations, 12 inquiries and closing some investigations for want of evidence. Govt for speedy setting up of LNG terminals

ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet on Wednesday directed the petroleum and defence ministries to remove all hurdles within 30 days to facilitate setting up and operationalisation of two additional liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing terminals in the private sector. KARACHI: Hackers have demanded K-Electric $38 million for returning its data. Sources said that the hackers have given the KE a deadline of September 15 to pay $38 million if the company wants to take back its data.
