Sui gas companies have conveyed availability of LNG pipeline capacity to be allocated for transmission and distribution to M/s Energas and M/s Tabeer Energy, sources close to Secretary Petroleum told Business Recorder. Prime Minister Imran Khan is due in Kaghan valley here today (Monday) to visit the 880MW Suki Kinari hydropower project and address a gathering of notables. Preparations for the visit have already been completed. The prime minister would be accompanied by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and members of his cabinet from Mansehra during the visit. Net inflows of foreign direct investment (FDI) into Pakistan averaged about $2.3 billion in the last four years and in the eleven months of the outgoing 2020-21, it slipped below $1.8bn.
