Port Qasim Authority may challenge GST on cess

ISLAMABAD: The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) is likely to challenge the general sales tax (GST) levied by the Sindh government on the channel development cess (CDC) collected from liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrying vessels. SLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Wednesday notified fuel cost adjustments (FCAs) for K-Electric for 11 months — July 2019 to May 2020 — involving a net relief of Rs2.355bn to consumers.
