Electricity rates are likely to be jacked up by Rs3.12 per unit after a request for the same by Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has been made to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA). The Cabinet Committee on Energy (CCoE) today (Wednesday) would discuss revised Circular Debit Management Plan (CDMP) prepared by the Power Division.
