Rawalpindi: In a tragic escalation of hostilities, 11 soldiers of Pakistan’s armed forces embraced martyrdom and 78 others sustained injuries while valiantly defending the nation against India’s unprovoked and reprehensible attacks, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed.
The offensive, which also claimed the lives of 40 civilians — including 7 women and 15 children — and injured 121 others, has drawn widespread condemnation.
The fallen heroes from the Pakistan Army include *Naik Abdul Rehman, **Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, **Lance Naik Ikramullah, **Naik Waqar Khalid, **Sepoy Muhammad Adeel Akbar, and *Sepoy Nisar.
From the *Pakistan Air Force, the martyrs include **Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf, **Chief Technician Aurangzeb, **Senior Technician Najeeb, **Corporal Technician Farooq, and *Senior Technician Mubashir.
“These sons of the soil are a symbol of unparalleled courage, steadfast devotion, and supreme patriotism,” said the ISPR. “Their sacrifice will forever be etched in the memory of our nation. Let there be no doubt—any future challenge to Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity will be met with a swift, decisive, and full-spectrum response.”
