HBL PSL 10 Resumes Today with Star-Studded Lineups and Tribute Show for Armed Forces

RAWALPINDI – The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 resumes today after a brief pause, with a high-voltage clash between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The tournament was temporarily suspended due to escalating tensions with India and a security incident near the stadium last week.

To mark the resumption of the league, a special tribute show honoring the Pakistan Armed Forces will also be held today, celebrating their sacrifices and resilience amid recent international challenges.

All six franchises have confirmed the return of their international stars and announced replacements for injured players, setting the stage for an electrifying second half of the tournament.

Key Highlights:

  • Islamabad United has confirmed the availability of five international players: Alex Hales, Rassie van der Dussen, Ben Dwarshuis, Jimmy Neesham, and Tymal Mills.
  • Lahore Qalandars welcome Sri Lanka’s Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan as injury replacements for Tom Curran and Daryl Mitchell.
  • Quetta Gladiators, currently leading the points table, have reinforced their lineup with Dinesh Chandimal, Avishka Fernando, and Gulbadin Naib, alongside the retained Finn Allen and Rilee Rossouw.
  • Karachi Kings captain and Australian legend David Warner has confirmed his participation, as has Ben McDermott, adding firepower to the Kings’ lineup.

The final will be held on *25 May at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, with playoffs starting from **21 May. A double-header is scheduled for *18 May in Rawalpindi, and the last group match will be played on 19 May.

All matches will begin at 7:30 PM local time, except for the *18 May double-header, where the afternoon match starts at *3:00 PM and the evening game at 8:00 PM.
