OSAKA (Japan): Pakistan’s Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka is gaining global attention with its striking theme, “Universe in a Grain of Salt,” inspired by the country’s unique natural treasure — pink rock salt from the Salt Range. This was highlighted by Federal Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan during a media briefing at the Expo.
Addressing local and international media, Jam Kamal outlined Pakistan’s vision for participating in the world expo, emphasizing themes of sustainability, cultural harmony, and economic opportunity. He asserted that Pakistan must not stay absent from global platforms like Expo 2025, which foster collective dialogue and innovation.
“Our presence here signals Pakistan’s commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship,” said the minister. “Salt, in its purity and strength, reflects our deep-rooted connection to the earth and our aspiration for nature-centric progress.”
The Pavilion’s design, rooted in natural aesthetics and pink rock salt symbolism, is emerging as one of the most visited attractions at the Expo. It offers a powerful narrative of wellness, nature, and cultural identity — reinforcing Pakistan’s image as a nation of creativity and natural richness.
