Ogra Cuts RLNG Prices for July Amid Lower Import Costs

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has announced revised prices for re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG), effective from July 1, 2025, reflecting a modest decline driven by lower Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) prices.

According to the notification, both Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) will see reductions in RLNG prices for their transmission and distribution networks.

For SNGPL, the transmission price has been reduced to \$10.8338 per million British thermal units (mmBtu), down by \$0.1816 or 1.65% from last month. The distribution price has been cut to \$11.5787 per mmBtu, a decrease of \$0.2029 or 1.72%.

Similarly, SSGC’s transmission price has dropped to \$9.4713 per mmBtu from \$9.7284, marking a 2.64% reduction. Its distribution price has been revised to \$10.5737 per mmBtu, down by \$0.2913 or 2.68%.

Ogra attributed the overall decline to a slight reduction in international RLNG import prices.
