The Sindh Free Solar System Scheme is a key government initiative aimed at supporting low-income households consuming less than 100 electricity units per month. The program promotes clean, sustainable energy by providing free solar home systems to eligible families across Sindh, including Karachi, Kohistan, and desert regions.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Monthly electricity consumption must be under 100 units for the past six consecutive months.
- Applicants must not have received a solar system under any previous government program.
📄 Required Documents
- Copy of Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
- Recent electricity bill
- Filled application form verified by a Union Council Chairman or a gazetted officer

- Submit the completed application with documents by August 20, 2025, to:
Energy Department, 3rd Floor, State Life Building No. 3, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Karachi.
⚠️ Note: Submission does not guarantee selection. Early application is strongly encouraged.
🎯 Selection & Installation
- If applications exceed 120,000, a lucky draw will determine the final recipients.
- Final selection by the Project Monitoring Committee is binding and cannot be contested.
- Chosen households will receive solar systems installed by an NGO, with independent third-party monitoring to ensure transparency.
