LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has intensified its recovery campaign, successfully reclaiming more than Rs267 million from electricity defaulters during September 2025, officials said on Sunday.
According to Lesco, a total of Rs267.83 million was recovered, including Rs183.89 million from privately-run connections, while the remaining amount came from other defaulting consumers.
Among all operational zones, the Kasur Circle led the drive, recovering Rs113.89 million from 4,091 defaulters, followed by the Central Circle, which secured Rs72.44 million from 1,564 consumers. The Eastern Circle ranked third with Rs35.68 million recovered from 421 defaulters.
Other notable recoveries included Rs17.87 million from the Sheikhupura Circle, Rs9.86 million from Okara, Rs7.83 million from Nankana Sahib, Rs5.18 million from the Northern Circle, and Rs5.08 million from the South Circle.
Lesco Chief Executive Officer Ramzan Butt praised the efforts of the recovery teams and directed them to sustain the momentum and continue strict action against all defaulters without discrimination.
