P@SHA-Led Pakistan Delegation Secures Seven Awards at the Prestigious APICTA Awards 2025 in Taiwan

Karachi: The Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) proudly led the largest-ever Pakistani delegation of 55 participants, representing 27 technology companies, startups, and student teams, at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2025, held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

All participants had qualified through the prestigious HBL P@SHA ICT Awards 2025, which recognized 104 outstanding projects, including 37 winners, 58 runners-up, and 9 special appreciation recipients.

The week-long event, inaugurated by Hou Yi-Hsiu, Deputy Minister of Digital Affairs (MODA), Chen Chi-Mai, Mayor of Kaohsiung City, and attended by over 100 regional ICT leaders, showcased cutting-edge innovation across 16 economies.

Pakistan’s delegation was guided by P@SHA Chairman Sajjad Mustafa Syed (APICTA ExCo Member), Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan (ExCo & Judge), Shahzad Shahid (Judge), Khurram Idrees (Judge), Dr. Usman Akram (Judge), and Zain Tariq, Manager Industry Engagement P@SHA & APICTA Economy Coordinator.

Pakistan returned home with an impressive seven awards, demonstrating the growing strength and global competitiveness of the country’s ICT ecosystem.

Pakistan’s awards included: Winner, People’s Choice Awards & Tertiary Students GeoGemma, Google Research by Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad; Winner, Public Sector and Government, Government and Citizen Services, Dastak by KPITB; First Runner Up, Senior Students, Sense Guard by Fazaia Inter College Jinnah Camp; First Runner Up, Tertiary Students, Innovative Solutions, Osteoscreen by National University of Sciences and Technology; First Runner Up, Business Services, ICT Services Solutions, ALEF by Dynasys Networks; First Runner Up, Internet of Things (IoT), ALEF by Dynasys Networks; and First Runner Up, Consumer Services, Faceoff by Unikrew Solutions.

Sajjad Syed, Chairman of P@SHA, stated:
