ISLAMABAD: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) on Tuesday announced that it will ensure uninterrupted gas supply to consumers in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and parts of Azad Jammu & Kashmir from 3:00am to 10:30pm during Ramazan.
Meanwhile, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) also issued its Ramazan gas supply schedule to facilitate customers during Sehri and Iftar hours. According to the schedule, gas will be available from 3:00am to 9:00am in the morning and 3:30pm to 10:00pm in the evening. Supply will remain suspended from 9:00am to 3:30pm during the day and from 10:00pm to 3:00am at night.
Both gas utilities have urged consumers to adhere strictly to the announced timings to avoid inconvenience. They also warned against the use of gas compressors, terming them illegal, unsafe, and unethical.
Earlier, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) fixed the maximum consumer price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at Rs226.05 per kilogram for February 1–28, 2026. The price of an 11.8kg LPG cylinder has been capped at Rs2,667.40, providing price stability for households relying on LPG for cooking and heating during the holy month.
