Shanghai, China – At the SNEC 2025 exhibition in Shanghai, global solar technology leader LONGi and internationally renowned testing and certification body TÜV Rheinland signed a strategic cooperation agreement, ushering in a new era of collaboration in photovoltaic (PV) innovation and quality assurance.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Li Weichun, Vice President at TÜV Rheinland, and Mr. Dennis She, Vice President of LONGi. This partnership will center on the development of standards for Back Contact (BC) technology, product reliability research, and enhanced quality control during mass production of PV modules.

LONGi’s cutting-edge HPBC 2.0 module, Hi-MO 9, recently underwent TÜV Rheinland’s rigorous testing regime. The module’s superior performance earned it the prestigious “All Quality Matters Award” for both Power Generation Simulation and Module Reliability. TÜV Rheinland also verified the module’s exceptional low-light performance, noting a 44% advantage in spectral response over conventional TOPCon products.

In a further testament to its excellence, LONGi received TÜV Rheinland’s “AA-Rated Certification for PV Supply Chain Traceability Management System,” highlighting its robust end-to-end supply chain control from polysilicon to module production.

Looking ahead, the two organizations aim to jointly advance international PV standards, enhance reliability across solar technologies, and accelerate the global shift toward sustainable, high-value energy solutions.

This collaboration not only reinforces LONGi’s commitment to innovation and sustainability but also sets new benchmarks for quality in the global PV industry.
