LAHORE: In line with the federal government’s digitalization policy, the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has launched its “E-Office System”, aimed at improving administrative efficiency, reducing paperwork, and enhancing transparency across the organization.

The new system is designed to modernize office operations by replacing manual, paper-based processes with a fully digital workflow, ensuring better time management and resource utilization.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, LESCO Chief Executive Officer Engr. Ramzan Butt said the company has been working closely with the Ministry of Energy on implementing the e-office framework. The initiative, he added, will now be extended across all internal departments to digitally transform LESCO’s operations.

“This step reflects the government’s vision of transforming public institutions through modern technology into transparent, efficient, and responsive entities,” Butt emphasized, noting that the e-office system will not only streamline day-to-day work but also promote accountability and faster decision-making within the organization.
