He stated that motorcycle riders will receive a subsidy of Rs. 100 on 20 liters of petrol per month. The subsidy will be provided for a duration of three months.
The Finance Minister further said that small farmers will be given a one-time subsidy of Rs. 1,500 per acre, while freight vehicles will receive a subsidy of Rs. 100 per liter.
He also announced a monthly subsidy of Rs. 70,000 for trucks and Rs. 80,000 for larger vehicles.
Passenger buses will be provided a monthly subsidy of Rs. 100,000.
Muhammad Aurangzeb added that the subsidy decision will be reviewed next month, and the federal government will also extend subsidies to Pakistan Railways.
