OGRA increased August 2026 LPG prices, pushing the 11.8kg domestic cylinder up by Rs152.01 to Rs3,000.92. It also raised July RLNG tariffs for SNGPL and SSGCL.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices for August 2026, raising the cost of an 11.8kg domestic cylinder by Rs152.01 from August 1, while also notifying a sharp increase in Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) tariffs for July.
Under the revised LPG pricing, the consumer rate has been fixed at Rs254,315.35 per tonne for August, compared with Rs241,432.84 per tonne in July. As a result, the retail price of an 11.8kg domestic cylinder has increased to Rs3,000.92 from Rs2,848.91, reflecting an increase of Rs12.89 per kilogram.
OGRA also revised producer prices upward, setting the ex-plant rate at Rs213,015.35 per tonne against Rs200,132.84 per tonne in July. The producer price of an 11.8kg cylinder rose by Rs152.01 to Rs2,513.58 from Rs2,361.57. The revised LPG prices will remain in effect throughout August.
Separately, the regulator announced higher RLNG transmission and distribution tariffs for July 2026 for both Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL).
For SNGPL, the transmission tariff increased 32.12% to $23.7020 per MMBtu from $17.9394 per MMBtu, while the distribution tariff rose 32.35% to $25.8388 per MMBtu from $19.5228 per MMBtu.
SSGCL’s transmission tariff was raised 35.78% to $22.2251 per MMBtu from $16.3679 per MMBtu, while its distribution tariff increased 34.62% to $25.0872 per MMBtu from $18.6360 per MMBtu.
According to OGRA, the revised RLNG tariffs were determined under the federal government’s policy guidelines and took effect from July 1, 2026.
