FCEPL deploys 450kW solar system to optimize energy utilization

Karachi: In a significant step towards achieving a sustainable industrial ecosystem, FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited has announced the deployment of a 450 kW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system integrated with a 255 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at its Nara Dairy Farm facility.
Awarded to DSG Energy, the project represents a strategic investment in clean energy infrastructure that will strengthen the plant’s energy resilience, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate the company’s transition toward a lower-carbon future.

By combining on-site solar generation with advanced battery energy storage, the project is designed to optimize renewable energy consumption, reduce reliance on conventional fuel-based power generation, lower energy costs, and ensure a more reliable and resilient power supply for critical farm operations.
