KARACHI: itel Energy has showcased its latest solar and energy storage solutions at the 22nd Solar Pakistan Expo, held from October 9 to 11 at the Expo Centre Karachi, unveiling its Gen-2 residential battery range, highlighting its strategic partnership with REPT BATTERO and announcing plans to expand into the commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage market.

The company said Pakistan’s evolving energy landscape, characterised by rising electricity tariffs and persistent power outages, is driving demand for integrated solar-plus-storage solutions for residential and commercial applications.

At the exhibition, itel Energy introduced new 5kW and 2.5kW residential battery models featuring Grade-A cells from REPT BATTERO. According to the company, the batteries incorporate intelligent battery management systems, enhanced safety features, a daily-cycle life exceeding 10 years and scalable parallel operation to accommodate varying energy requirements.

itel Energy also showcased its Sparta IP66 and IP54 hybrid inverters, which the company said have been deployed across thousands of installations nationwide. The products are designed to support solar power generation and energy management across different installation environments.

As part of its expansion strategy, itel Energy announced a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with strategic partners to develop dedicated C&I energy solutions. The planned portfolio includes a new 10kWh battery system with scalable configurations ranging from 40.96kWh to 661.8kWh, catering to businesses with varying energy storage requirements.

The proposed C&I solutions will be supported by energy auditing, project execution, monitoring and artificial intelligence-driven energy management services. The integrated approach aims to help commercial and industrial users manage electricity consumption and optimise their energy systems.

Beyond solar generation and battery storage, itel Energy presented its Power Series and highlighted collaborations across electric mobility and smartphones. The company said these initiatives reflect its broader ambition to develop an integrated ecosystem connecting household energy needs, business power requirements and everyday mobility.

The latest product launches and planned C&I expansion underscore itel Energy’s strategy to move beyond residential solar solutions towards larger-scale energy storage applications. With its focus on scalable battery systems, hybrid inverters and intelligent energy management, the company aims to strengthen its presence in Pakistan’s expanding solar-plus-storage market.
