Prime Minister Imran Khan is due in Kaghan valley here today (Monday) to visit the 880MW Suki Kinari hydropower project and address a gathering of notables. Preparations for the visit have already been completed. The prime minister would be accompanied by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and members of his cabinet from Mansehra during the visit. Net inflows of foreign direct investment (FDI) into Pakistan averaged about $2.3 billion in the last four years and in the eleven months of the outgoing 2020-21, it slipped below $1.8bn. The government has formed a committee to identify the people responsible for the delay in dry docking at the Engro LNG floating terminal. The dry docking was due in March last year, but Engro replaced the existing terminal with another one with more capacity of 900 mmcfd of LNG.
