In a bid to go green, one of Pakistan’s leading steel manufacturer Agha Steel Industries Limited (ASIL) has announced to set up a solar power plant to meet its energy needs. Thermal coal receipts fell by 6.4pc on the year and by 36pc on the month to an eight-month low of 1mn t in January, Federal Board of Revenue data show. US mines produced approximately $82.3 billion in minerals in 2020— about $1.5 billion lower than the 2019 revised total of $83.7 billion, the U.S. Geological Survey announced.
