The Sindh government has decided to set up a 200-megawatt power plant based on solid civic waste as primary fuel in Karachi as the city of ports generates around 8,000 tons of waste every day. LAHORE: Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) has warned the Ministry of Energy (MoE) of massive disruption in the liquefied natural gas supply chain in near future if Rs6.5 billion payments are not released by the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).
