Rs 48bn Disbursed for Various NTDC, PEPCO Projects

The public authority has delivered an amount of Rs 48.560 billion for different ventures of the Public Transmission and Despatch Organization (NTDC) and Pakistan Electric Inventory Organization (PEPCO) under the Yearly Open Area Improvement Program (PSDP) during the initial a half year of the flow financial year 2022-23.

As per the information of the Arranging Commission, the public authority had dispensed Rs 42,983.26 million for different NTDC/PEPCO projects with Rs 20,773.43 million unfamiliar guide part. An amount of Rs 42,566.29 million has been spent such a long ways on different tasks. An amount of Rs 35,120.25 million has been dispensed under unfamiliar guide part till December 2022.

The public authority had determined an amount of Rs 7500 million for the Interconnection of Makran Organization, Rs 2,000 million for 220 kV Swabi Substation (NTDC), Rs 1,500 million for 220/132kV GIS Substation Dhabiji (NTDC), Rs 1,200 million for 500 kV Allama Iqbal Modern City, Rs 1000 million for 220kV Haripur Substation, Rs 750 million for ABC Link for Peshawar, Bannu Circle (PESCO), Rs 600 million for development of 132 kV Lattice Station (Khan Mehterzai), Rs 395 million for zap works at various towns of Chitral.

For the new plan, a measure of Rs 2,500 million has been dispensed for the power circulation proficiency improvement project, Rs 2,000 million for auxiliary Transmission Lines and Matrix stations (HESCO), Rs 1500 million for 220 kV Quaid-e-Azam Attire and Business Park, and Rs 500 million for development of second Circuit Hanging of 132 kV Transmission Line (Jiwani to Gwadar).

Likewise, an amount of Rs 14,085 million has been reserved for the establishment of 2,600 MW Coal Terminated Power Venture Jamshoro, Rs 7,600 million for clearing of force from Sukki Kinari, Rs 7,260 million for arrangement of 50KVA T/F and HT ‘Line for De’ Rs 3,360 million for clearing of force from 2,160 MW Dasu HPP Stage-1, Rs 3,400 million for departure of force from Tarbela fifth expansion, Rs 2,500 million for power conveyance improvement speculation program-II, Rs 2,000 million for up-degree/augmentation of NTDC’s Telecom and SCADA Framework at NPCC, Rs 1,650 million for 500 KV Islamabad West and Rs 3,000 million for clearing of force from 1,224 MW wind power plants at Jhimpir.
