Latest Petrol Prices in Pakistan – 16 July 2023

The Federal Government has reduced the Petrol Prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight from 16 July 2023 till 31 July 2023. According to the details, the Government has slashed the Prices Petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD), while maintaining the Price of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO).

According to the announcement, the Petrol Price in Pakistan has been reduced by Rs. 9.00 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has seen a reduction of Rs. 7.00 per litre.

This brings the new Petrol Price in Pakistan at Rs. 253.00 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel has been reduced to Rs. 253.50 per litre. However, the Finance Minister did not announce any change in the Price of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO), which are going to remain at Rs. 164.07 per litre and Rs. 147.68 per litre, respectively.

Furthermore, Ishaq Dar said that no changes have been made to the Petroleum Development Levy (PDL) that was increased to Rs. 60 per litre on the demand of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In the last review, the Federal Government had maintained the Petrol Prices in Pakistan, except for High-Speed Diesel (HSD), which saw a increase of Rs. 7.50 per litre.
