POGEE 2024: Energy Sector’s Premier Exhibition Inaugurated in Lahore

Lahore, Pakistan: The 18th edition of the Pakistan Oil, Gas & Energy Exhibition (POGEE) kicked off with great fervor at the Lahore Expo Centre, showcasing the latest advancements in Oil, Gas, and Power technologies. This year’s event, held alongside the 15th Safe Secure Pakistan (SSP) exhibition, witnessed a notable gathering of industry leaders and participants from both national and international spheres.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, a symbol of the event’s commencement, was graced by esteemed personalities including Mr. Zaki Aijaz, Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FPCCI), Zia Salahuddin, Executive Director of Oil & Gas Development Company (Pakistan) Limited (OGDCL), Dr. Abdul Rehman, Administrator of RESCUE-1122 (Punjab Emergency Services), and Rao Asif Ali, Director of Chevron Pakistan.

Despite its hiatus, POGEE and SSP attracted robust participation from renowned international and local energy entities such as Siemens Pakistan, JC Electronics (Netherlands), Flanders Investment & Trade (Belgium), and Hangzhou Turbine Power Group (China). Scheduled from May 8th to May 10th, 2024, this event promises to be a convergence point for thousands of delegates representing key stakeholders and government bodies.

The chief guest highlighted the pivotal role of POGEE and SSP in providing valuable avenues for stakeholders in the oil, gas, power, safety, and security sectors, facilitating business expansion and diversification within Pakistan.
