OGDC Wins Pakistan’s No. 1 Corporate Philanthropy Award

ISLAMABAD, November 19, 2025: Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC) on Wednesday secured 1st place in the Corporate Philanthropy Awards 2025, earning recognition from the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) as the largest corporate contributor in terms of CSR spending across the country. The award ceremony, held in Islamabad, celebrated companies making meaningful contributions to social development and community upliftment.
MD/CEO OGDC, Mr. Ahmed Hayat Lak, received the award from the Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue, Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb. The achievement underscores OGDC’s long-standing commitment to sustainable development, education, healthcare, and community welfare across Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, the MD/CEO OGDC reaffirmed the company’s continued focus on responsible corporate citizenship. He said, “OGDC is not only the largest company in Pakistan in terms of market capitalisation, but also the largest corporate spender in CSR. Our CSR policy ensures that we work in close collaboration with our partners and communities in the company’s operational areas. We also give due weightage to PCP-certified NGOs, reflecting the strong and trusted relationship built with PCP over the years. OGDC will continue its efforts with greater focus and sustainability.”
