ISLAMABAD: Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) has warned K-Electric (KE) that it may reassess, curtail or suspend the supply of re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) if the power utility fails to clear outstanding payments of Rs6.75 billion. In a letter to K-Electric’s chief executive officer, PLL said outstanding principal dues for RLNG supplied between May and July 2026 stood at Rs6.7526 billion as of August 27. KATHMANDU: Nepal has suffered an estimated $2.56 billion (387.5 billion Nepalese rupees) in damage to property, housing and infrastructure following catastrophic floods last week, according to the country’s disaster management authorities. ISLAMABAD: The government is planning to fully deregulate petrol prices by June 2027, while high-speed diesel (HSD) pricing would be deregulated at a later stage as part of a gradual shift towards a market-based petroleum pricing system.
