ANKARA, October 2025: A delegation of high-achieving Pakistani students currently visiting Turkiye under a special initiative of Prime Minister H.E. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the Turkish Ministry of National Education in Ankara today. The visit aims to recognize outstanding academic performance while deepening educational and cultural collaboration between the two brotherly nations.
The students were warmly received by H.E. Yusuf Tekin, Minister of National Education of Turkiye, who welcomed the delegation with great enthusiasm. In his address, Minister Tekin described the youth as the torchbearers of the exemplary Pakistan–Turkiye brotherhood, a friendship that stands as a model for the world. He encouraged the students to further strengthen this enduring relationship, built on mutual trust, respect, and shared values.
Welcoming the students, H.E. Dr. Yousaf Junaid, Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkiye, expressed gratitude to the Turkish Ministry for its hospitality and engagement. He reaffirmed the historic and deeply rooted ties between Pakistan and Turkiye, emphasizing that such exchanges play a vital role in enhancing cooperation in education, youth development, and people-to-people linkages.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Ms. Anna Farooqi thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for providing this invaluable opportunity. She shared that the experience had been both inspiring and educational, offering a unique perspective on Turkiye’s education system and its longstanding partnership with Pakistan.
Later, the students visited the Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara, where they received a briefing on the structure and functions of a diplomatic mission. The visit highlighted the shared commitment of both nations to empower youth and foster lasting cultural and educational connections, nurturing a new generation of Pakistan–Turkiye friendship ambassadors.
