Rana Sanaullah, WAPDA Chief Review Progress on Key Energy and Water Projects

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah and Chairman Water and Power Development Authority, Muhammad Saeed, on Tuesday reaffirmed their commitment to accelerating the completion of critical energy and water projects across Pakistan.

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination in Islamabad, focused on improving water resource management, reviewing the progress of ongoing WAPDA development schemes, and strengthening inter-provincial coordination.

Both sides conducted a detailed assessment of initiatives aimed at enhancing water storage capacity, a key priority for ensuring long-term water and energy security in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Rana Sanaullah emphasized the urgent need for consensus among provinces on projects of national importance, noting that inter-provincial harmony is essential for sustainable development.

He directed relevant authorities to expedite work on ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery of benefits to the public.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to further enhance coordination between federal and provincial governments, ensuring effective implementation of development goals and improved resource management nationwide.
