# ADNOC Offers Spot Crude in Eighth Tender Since June Amid Strait of Hormuz Disruptions
**SINGAPORE:** The **Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)** has launched another tender to sell spot crude, marking its **eighth tender since the beginning of June**, as the UAE state-owned oil giant seeks to move crude from the Gulf amid continued challenges around the Strait of Hormuz, according to trade sources.
ADNOC on Monday offered **Upper Zakum, Umm Lulu and Das crude** for loading in October and November.
Bids are due by **August 13** and will remain valid until August 14.
The three crude grades are produced from fields in the Gulf and are traditionally exported through the **Strait of Hormuz**, a key global oil shipping route.
ADNOC did not include **Murban crude** in its latest tender, according to the sources.
As with previous tenders, buyers can purchase the crude on a **free-on-board (FOB)** basis from ADNOC facilities at **Fujairah Storage, Zirku or Das Island**.
Buyers can also arrange ship-to-ship transfers in the **Fujairah-Sohar range or Malaysia**, providing alternative logistics options for moving the crude.
ADNOC has sold at least **94 million barrels of crude** to refiners and traders through its previous tenders, with the company using a shuttle fleet to transport crude out of the Gulf and transfer it to other tankers in the Gulf of Oman.
The repeated spot tenders highlight ADNOC’s efforts to maintain crude flows and provide alternative shipping arrangements amid logistical constraints affecting exports through the Strait of Hormuz.
