KARACHI: Hackers have demanded K-Electric $38 million for returning its data. Sources said that the hackers have given the KE a deadline of September 15 to pay $38 million if the company wants to take back its data. Failing to pay the money by Sept 15, the amount will be doubled i.e $76 million, they added. An elephant kept alone in a tiny enclosure in a Pakistani zoo will be allowed to leave after a campaign by animal welfare activists helped ensure him better conditions elsewhere.  Dubbed the ‘world’s loneliest elephant’ by his supporters, Kaavan has languished at a zoo in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad for more than 35 years.
