The Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) is pleased to announce the results of its Central Executive Committee (CEC) elections for the 2026-28 term. In a landmark election, Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan was elected as Chairman of P@SHA with complete unanimity.
Dr. Khan, a seasoned academic and a leading voice in Pakistan’s technology sector, brings to the role an exceptional blend of technical expertise and strategic vision.
His unanimous election underscores a profound level of confidence in his ability to steer the association and the industry at large during a critical period of growth and digital transformation of Pakistan.
Accepting the role, Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan stated:
“I am deeply honored by the trust placed in me by the entire P@SHA membership. This is a pivotal moment for Pakistan’s IT sector. Working together with the newly elected CEC, my immediate priority is to collaborate closely with the government on forward-thinking policies, accelerate skill development to meet global demands, and position Pakistan as a leading destination for IT innovation and investment. We must create an environment where local startups can thrive and our established firms can scale global heights.”
The newly elected P@SHA Central Executive Committee for 2026-28 includes a distinguished, diverse, and inclusive group of IT and tech industry leaders.
It is pertinent to note that former Chairman P@SHA, Muhammad Zohaib Khan and CEC Member, Dr. Faisal Kamiran, withdrew their nominations in favor of Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan – which paved the way for Dr. Khan’s unanimous win.
P@SHA has also announced the election of its Senior Vice Chairman, Wahab Yunus and Vice Chairman, Samad Saleem, for the tenure of 2026-28.
P@SHA expresses its gratitude to the outgoing leadership and reaffirms its commitment to advocating for the entire IT and ITeS community.
The new leadership’s collective experience across various technology sub-sectors is expected to provide valuable continuity and fresh impetus to P@SHA’s initiatives.
