Taking place from 26 – 30 April 2026 in Riyadh, the theme for the 25th WPC Energy Congress will be ‘Pathways To An Energy Future For All’.
Discussions over the four days will centre around how the global energy sector can transition to deliver a low carbon system which meets its social, environmental, and economic challenges.
The Congress was awarded to the nation of Saudi Arabia in Autumn 2022 when a delegation of 23 people from the Ministry of Energy led by Eng. Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Oil and Gas, travelled to Almaty, Kazakhstan to present their successful bid to WPC Energy Council members at their annual gathering. During the 24th Congress in
Calgary in September 2023 HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud, Minister of Energy signed the official contract to confirm plans for the upcoming Congress.
Pedro Miras, WPC Energy’s President noted ‘I am delighted that 2026 will mark the first time in our 90 year history, that our leading industry event will take place on Saudi soil’.
