ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has levied a Rs10 million fine on the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) for its failure to ensure proper earthing and grounding of high-tension and low-tension poles across its service area. In its ruling, NEPRA stated that after reviewing IESCO’s submissions, the company’s response to a show-cause notice was deemed unsatisfactory.
