ISLAMABAD (INP): The government has finalized important decisions for the upcoming federal budget, according to official sources.
Sources said it has been decided not to increase sales tax on solar panels in the new fiscal year, providing relief to the renewable energy sector and consumers adopting solar technology.
Similarly, the government has also decided not to raise taxes on fertilizers, a move aimed at supporting the agriculture sector and ensuring stability in input costs for farmers.
In addition, officials indicated that a reduction in income tax for the salaried class has been approved as part of broader efforts to provide relief amid rising inflationary pressures.
Further details of the budget measures are expected to be announced in the upcoming federal budget presentation.
