Karachi, June 19, 2026 – Prime Minister announced an immediate reduction in petroleum prices, providing major relief to consumers amid rising inflation.
In a televised statement, the PM said the new rates will take effect tonight at 12:00 AM.
New fuel prices effective tonight:
- Petrol: Reduced by Rs 74/litre → from Rs 373 to Rs 299/litre = 19.8% cut
- High Speed Diesel: Reduced by Rs 67/litre → from Rs 378 to Rs 311/litre = 17.7% cut
This is one of the largest single cuts in fuel prices announced this year. The PM said the decision was made to ease the burden on transport and common citizens.
